Wirral Festival of Firsts

10 May 2019 - 14 Jul 2019
Wirral, United Kingdom

Wirral Festival of Firsts is a community arts organisation run by volunteers which runs an annual arts festival for the benefit of the community. It aims to inspire creativity and innovation, encourage participation and offer people an accessible arts experience. In 2019 we will be running two short festivals both of which will showcase local talent and bring outstanding international performers to the Wirral. A poetry festival will be held on the weekend of 10-12 May and an arts festival on the weekends of 5-7 and 12 -14 July.

Performers this year include Roger McGough and Little Machine at the Poetry Festival in May and Griff Rhys Jones, Jyotsana Srikanth and Daphne Sadeh, Luke Wright, Teatro Pomodoro and many others at the Arts festival in July.
