XXI Tallinn Chamber Music Festival "Love Letters" 2025

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The XXI Tallinn Chamber Music Festival 2025, under the working title "Love Letters", will take place from 23–30 August 2025 and will feature 8 chamber concerts. The main theme of the festival, "Love Letters", is based on the romantic correspondence of various composers. These thematically diverse concerts provide an engaging and enriching experience for audiences, including new listeners who may not have had prior exposure to chamber music. The festival broadens the listener's perspective and receptiveness to classical music, as top-level performers present carefully curated masterpieces from the global chamber repertoire alongside Estonian music. The festival’s composer-in-residence in 2025 is Mihkel Kerem, whose deeply spiritual and evocative style brings a magical dimension to the program. A new violin sonata dedicated to Anna-Liisa Bezrodny has been commissioned from him for the festival.
