XXIX Edition of MASDANZA, The International Contemporary Dance Festival of the Canary Islands, Spain
Masdanza has become the Spanish international platform for the new creation of contemporary dance. From its beginnings as a local festival to its international consolidation, Masdanza has grown in quality, prestige, and recognition, both by audiences and professionals, as well as specialised critics. Masdanza has been able to reflect the creative process that prevails in the world of contemporary dance. It is the only International Dance Festival in our country, and one of the few in Europe, with two Competitions in its Official Section: The Choreographic Competition and the Solo Competition.
