12th Molyvos International Music Festival - "EUDAIMONIA" 2026

The Molyvos International Music Festival (MIMF)is a unique project for the north Aegean region that brings together renowned young soloists to create various ensemble formations, especially for the days of the festival. The festival has become one of the most important development vehicles of the Greek island of Lesbos, bringing innovation for the region and creating inclusion in various fields, by uniting people through the universal language of music.Every August, international young talents are joining some of the biggest names in classical music for a celebration of world-class classical music, making the festival one of Greece’s most prestigious classical music events. Besides the main evening concerts, MIMF is enriched by a) its opening acts> events that run before the festival days and are free of charge aiming to involve the community of the whole island, and b) the unique Molyvos Musical Moments> short, extraordinary musical interventions - free of charge - that take place during the day in various places inside the village, on the beach, and in the disco to ensure the entire village is caught up in the festival’s spell of classical music. Each year explores a different theme.

This year`s theme is "ΕΥΔΑΙΜΟΝΙΑ" (Eudaimonia). Eudaimonia implies a positive and divine state of being that humanity is able to strive toward and possibly reach.
