The Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival (October 25 – November 3, 2024) is a leading European documentary film festival and the largest event of its kind in Central and Eastern Europe. The festival retains a distinctive and progressive programming approach and has built innovative projects such as the Emerging Producers, Inspiration Forum, and Ji.hlava New Visions Forum & Market which introduces new documentary projects to over 1,300 attending film professionals. The festival is also famous for its informal atmosphere, discussion character, and full screening venues (the attendance at its 26th edition in October 2022 was over 38,000 viewers live and 50,000 online).
