3rd Athens Rebetiko Festival

The 3rd Athens Rebetiko Festival in the heart of the city. Leading musicians, artists, bands from abroad, academics, journalists, researchers, shadow puppet performers, and radio producers take us on a journey into the mythical world of Rebetiko. A three-day celebration of music and culture filled with concerts, dances, songs, taximia, manedes, seminars, documentaries, presentations, talks, shadow theater, and activities for children awaits us, inviting us to savor this wonderful blend of history and urban folk song. “Because… there are lyrics that have taken root in the stones of this land and melodies born to set our shared destiny in motion… Rebetiko!”

Three-day pass: 35 euros

Reduced admission for the unemployed and people with disabilities: 8 euros
