75th European Music Festival for Young People
The European Music Festival for Young People (EMJ) in Neerpelt is an annual festival where around 4000 youngsters from some 100 international youth and children choirs or instrumental ensembles meet in Neerpelt. The EMJ encourages young people to make music and sing together and offers them ways to meet and appreciate music from different cultures. An international jury judges the performances and the public can enjoy a range of concerts. Famous conductors, composers & jury members praise the EMJ's value and unique mix of companionship and evaluation. In 2027 we will celebrate our 75th anniversay with a unique festival that you do not want to miss. For this special occassion we will host both children and youth choirs and instrumental ensembles at the same time.
