75th Ljubljana Festival
Looking Ahead to the 75th Ljubljana Festival
The next edition of the Ljubljana Festival will present a well rounded programme that brings together distinguished artists, orchestras, conductors, soloists, ensembles and creative practitioners from across the world.
Over the course of the festival, audiences will be able to attend approximately 110 events encompassing symphonic and chamber music, opera, ballet, musical theatre, jazz, world music and interdisciplinary productions. Alongside the main evening performances, the programme will include educational initiatives, masterclasses led by internationally acclaimed artists, concerts by emerging musicians, exhibitions, creative workshops and public events that further strengthen the Ljubljana Festival's role as a centre of artistic exchange and cultural dialogue.
The Ljubljana Festival unfolds across Ljubljana's most prestigious cultural landmarks, including Congress Square, Križanke, Cankarjev Dom, the Slovenian Philharmonic, the Ljubljana Opera and Ballet, the National Gallery, the Academy of Music and the Ljubljanica River. These distinctive venues provide an architectural and historical setting that complements the artistic excellence of the programme.
Each summer, the Ljubljana Festival welcomes more than 64,000 visitors from around the world and hosts artists from more than 55 countries. By combining internationally celebrated performers with exceptional young talent, the Festival continues to cultivate a dialogue between artistic tradition and contemporary creativity, reaffirming Ljubljana's place on the international cultural map.
