We, the Carnival of Cultures, are the largest cultural intervention in public space in Germany that clearly opposes right-wing extremism and advocates for a free, sustainable, and peaceful society. But we are also a mycelium of diversity that is active far beyond the event itself, throughout the year and across the city: the largest network of diverse cultural creators in Berlin. We are a grassroots movement and a post-migrant tradition, celebrating belonging and diversity for four days every year at Pentecost in the heart of the city.
