Chimera Fest

Chimera is a festival offering a program of live performances, meetings, workshops, exhibitions, and moments of simple social gathering. It's a place to meet international artists, as well as local organisations and professionals. Spread throughout the many small settings of the village of Casertavecchia, the activities, meetings, and concerts find a home in public and private spaces that light up over three days of events. 

After the first two editions (2024, 2025) within the larger project of cultural, social, environmental valorisation of La Finestra - The smallest Community Hub in Italy. We want to continue artistic experimentation, debate current issues, and engage in community work to provide communities and individuals with new opportunities for accessible and sustainable growth.

Chimera Fest takes place over three days that speak to a public of enthusiasts of contemporary languages, from music to writing, capable at the same time of attracting a local/transversal audience for the integrated offering of:

• workshops
• exhibitions
• screenings
• tastings
• guided tours

For the 2026 edition, we want to grow and offer even more content and opportunities of encounter! This year, the festival will focus on "New Mediterraneanism," a way to narrate a region of historical, cultural, political, and community diversity, reflecting and interpreting the complexities of our time.

Our goals:

1. To be an increasingly international festival in terms of guests and audiences
2. Have an accessible and sustainability program, built with professionals, communities, institutions and businesses
3. Connect with national and international networks and partners
4. Expand the program and the audience participation
