ClassicheFORME 2026

Classiche Forme is an International Chamber Music Festival founded and directed by pianist Beatrice Rana and promoted by Associazione Musicale Opera Prima. Since 2017 it has been bringing great music to the iconic places of Salento, from art sites to the countryside. The tenth edition of ClassicheForme will be held from 19 to 26 July 2026 in Lecce, Supersano and Casamassella-Uggiano La Chiesa, Spongano.Also this year the program will be a full week of live outdoor music and musical masterpieces, bringing together historical excellence and popular traditions, and gathering around some of the biggest names of classical music together with talented young artists.To remove barriers between stage and audience, to combine popular Salento traditions with classical music, to present artists with established careers alongside emerging young artists, to commission new works, to discuss current musical issues, to invest in the renovation of the audience: these are the founding prerogatives of Classiche Forme.“My desire is to bring to my Salento all the emotions that I experience playing around the world, creating a strong connection among the territory, the artists, the audience and music” declares Beatrice Rana.Among the guests for the next edition, together with the artistic director Beatrice Rana: Pablo Ferràndez, Sarah Willis, Simone Rubino, Sara Ferràndez, Andrea Obiso Andrea Cicalese, Ludovico Mealli, Carlotta Libonati, Alessio Pianelli, Massimo Spada, Ludovica Rana, Trio Concept, Ettore Pagano and Massimo Spada.Each Classiche Forme concert is staged with mixed ensembles: the true personality of the festival is given precisely by the formation of chamber groups set up for the occasion and made up of soloists of the highest international prestige. They perform in contexts that wouldn’t normally be used for the enjoyment of classical music.The identity of Classiche Forme is to make of art venues and places of wild nature a unique setting for concerts. The Festival concept has revitalized and renewed the perception of chamber music among young people and larger audiences. Classiche Forme is fresh and young like its established creator Beatrice Rana, open like many of its concert venues, intimate as the musical friendship among the musicians.
