Cuore di...
Since 2005, every year, “Cuore di...” (Heart of...) is dedicated to a different country, focusing on contemporary performing and visual arts, and on current items (last editions: Greece, Palestine, Brasil, Scandinavian countries, Iran, Spain). The aim is to present a different ‘face’ of countries that are often perceived through stereotypes and often appear on the front page of newspapers for various reasons. The programme includes theatre, dance, music, cinema, parties, workshops, meetings and “letters” from that country to ours.
A real journey that takes the audience in a country they never imagined, especially through contemporary theatre and contemporary dance, independent cinema and words of "witnesses". A "reportage" festival to overcome barriers and prejudices and to invite people to travel and discover a country under different viewpoints.
"Cuore di Polonia" (Heart of Poland), as a frontier country in the EU, will be the 2024 edition of the festival.
