Dallas Delivery 2027

Dallas Delivery is a multidisciplinary urban arts and community festival organised by Artipic Association in Dallas, one of the most marginalised and neglected neighbourhoods of Iași, Romania. The 2027 edition will take place between 24 and 26 September, transforming the parking area of the Municipal Swimming Complex and the courtyard of the local Multifunctional Centre into vibrant spaces for artistic expression, cultural exchange and community participation. 

Located in an area affected by social exclusion, poverty, limited infrastructure and restricted access to cultural opportunities, Dallas Delivery challenges the geographical and social barriers that separate marginalised communities from the rest of the city. Rather than simply bringing art into an underserved neighbourhood, the festival seeks to create a shared cultural space where residents, artists and visitors can meet, collaborate and build new connections. The festival brings together street art, mural painting, dance, circus and performing arts, music, participatory workshops, film screenings, urban culture and community activities. Its interdisciplinary programme combines artistic interventions in public space with accessible cultural experiences, encouraging active participation rather than passive spectatorship.

A central component of Dallas Delivery is participatory urban regeneration through art. Murals and site-specific artistic interventions transform neglected spaces into landmarks of creativity and collective identity, while workshops and collaborative activities invite children, young people and residents to become active contributors to the cultural life of their neighbourhood. The festival also serves as a platform for artistic experimentation and international collaboration, welcoming artists and cultural organisations interested in socially engaged practices, cultural inclusion, environmental sustainability and creative approaches to public space. Dallas Delivery is more than an arts festival: it is an ongoing process of cultural mediation, community empowerment and urban transformation. By bringing diverse audiences into a neighbourhood often associated with stigma and exclusion, the festival aims to challenge stereotypes, encourage dialogue and demonstrate how culture can contribute to social cohesion and a more inclusive city. Through its 2027 edition, Dallas Delivery continues Artipic's commitment to making culture accessible beyond conventional institutions and ensuring that communities too often left outside the cultural landscape become visible, involved and heard.
