ESC-Perimenta is an underground festival dedicated to exploration and dialogue across experimental music, performing arts and visual arts. It takes place in San Lorenzo, a historic working-class neighbourhood in Rome, at "ESC Atelier Autogestito": a reclaimed space open to the local community. Through concerts, performances, visual interventions and discussions, the festival brings together artists, audiences and cultural organisations from Italy and across Europe. Artistic experimentation becomes an opportunity to share practices and perspectives, build connections across borders and reflect on the relationship between independent culture and the city. ESC-Perimenta is a project by “Sineforma Collective APS”, an independent cultural platform that connects artists, spaces and communities through curation and cultural programming. Its first edition took place over three evenings at "ESC Atelier Autogestito".
