Fantasy en Beaujolais is a renewed festival of imaginative literature (fantasy, SF, thrillers, uchronies, dark fantasy), returning in 2026 after five years of silence. Held in rural Saint-Didier-sur-Chalaronne (Ain, France) on 9-11 October, it explores the theme « … and then reborn » through demanding, sensitive and cross-disciplinary encounters (literature, music, theatre, role-playing games). Rooted in its territory, the festival combines artistic excellence, inclusion, accessibility (free entry) and benevolence, guided by its newly adopted Bien Vivre Charter.
