Festival de Saint-Denis

For over 56 years, The Festival of Saint-Denis combines classical music and the architectural heritage of Saint-Denis. It gathers the greatest artists on the international classical music scene in the Basilica of Saint-Denis and in the Maison d’éducation de la Légion d’honneur were they perform creations as well as main classical masterpiece. Concerned about diversifying its aesthetics, the Festival also presents jazz, pop and world music concerts. Festival of Saint-Denis’ little brother, Métis, born 15 years ago and itinerant on Plaine Commune’s territories seek to create links between different sort of music. The Festival of Saint-Denis lead simultaneously, for 25 years during the academic year, awareness-raising activities about classical music to make its programmation as accessible as possible to the largest audience.
