FESTIVAL INDUCTION

INDUCTION is a pluri-disciplinary festival , focused on emancipation and art as a tool of resilience.

The goal remains clear: Induce a (or multiple) thought to make the world; through art, strive towards a “good life” respectful of others and basic values of hospitality.

This goal involves different branches and ramifications. A tile is between the various sub-objectives. Because the creation is done often from contemporary authors; it is represented by local and international companies and by different treatments (multidisciplinary). We can have a more complete vision if we list the 4 main lines

After its birth 8 years ago in the small village of Samonac, headquarters of the Mata-Malam company, the Induction festival and its wind of freedom will land at the end of July on the grounds of the so beautiful Citadelle, its hall and the Parc de Bourg sur Gironde, in the medieval village on the edge of Garonne and its exceptional heritage.

We are very pleased with this new impetus and to offer Bourg the INDUCTION. On the other hand and as in the past, we are supported by the localities and municipalities, cultural stakeholders and associationjs, and of course our wonderful volunteers, allies and most importantly audience(s) !

So.... 17-18-19 in Bourg sur Gironde!

And we hope it will move, and grow!

For this 9th Edition, the Festival builds on the international project(s) originally created in 2022 and then carried out by Mata-Malam and its Italian and German partners, in the fine title of L'Art-Matrix. The Art-Matrice, with shows, workshops, debates and videos, is intended transformation of our lead into gold. Art, as a peaceful weapon that frees us, artists, participants, spectators, cultural actors, that can resonate, "induce", and spread.

Thus the shows proposed this year will reflect this proposal and will be, we hope, inspiring for everyone. The choice of our godmother, Firmine Richard, stems from this intention.
