Fifth International Inclusive Theatre Festival "ART-Playback. Together"

The aim of the Festival is to create space for secure communication, dialogue through theater between different people and communities, including those who does not have the opportunity to be heard, who faces with discrimination, oppression and\or represents a minority: people with disabilities, LGBTI community, national minorities, internally displaced people from East Ukraine and Crimea, seniors, teenagers and others.

Three days people with different backgrounds and lifestyles will be able to participate in a joint creative process, researching the following topics: how to learn to perceive diversity and apply it to boost their own development? What are the ways to eco-life? How do we perceive those who are different from us? The participants will be able to attend theatrical performances, participate in workshops and even try themselves as actors on the stage.

The main tools of the Festival are interactive theater techniques that have proven successful around the world: Playback Theater, Theater of the Oppressed and documentary theater and other art. They encourage people to examine their lives, recognize their responsibility, rethink their mindsets, behavior and further contribute to the quality of life changes.

The festival may be of interest to all people who are engaged in their self-development towards creative abilities, relations human-human, human-community, for actors of different theater methods, especially improvisation genre, social activists, psychologists, social workers, teachers, government officials. We invite everyone who wants to be heard and listen to others.
