Gabala International Music Festival
Since 2009, the Gabala International Music Festival has been held annually in the city of Gabala, one of Azerbaijan’s most scenic and culturally rich destinations. Organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Baku Music Academy named after Uzeyir Hajibeyli, and Gilan, the festival has become one of Azerbaijan’s premier cultural events. It brings together distinguished musicians from around the world, celebrating classical music while fostering artistic excellence, intercultural dialogue, and shared human values. This year, the festival returns in an expanded format. During the six-day festival, Gabala will become a vibrant cultural hub, hosting an inspiring programme of symphonic and chamber concerts, exhibitions, literary projects, creative workshops, and other cultural initiatives. Bringing together artists and visitors from across the globe, the festival offers a unique opportunity to experience Azerbaijan’s rich cultural heritage alongside world-class musical performances in one of the country's most beautiful destinations.
