International Festival for Street and Puppet Theatre – PUPPET FAIR – SOFIA 2024
The International Sofia Puppet Fair is organised by Sofia Puppet Theatre since 2002. The festival is not competitive but rather ephasizes on showcasing the most interesting, original and modern spectacles in the field of both puppet theater art (indoors) and street theater not only from Bulgaria and Europe, but from all around the world. We are striving for diversity and richness of different aesthetics. For our 12 editions of the Festival until now we have shown more than 290 spectacles by artists from 25+ countries.
Our upcoming 13th edition will focus on showcasing the best from the international programme for all ages in both genres - street and puppet theater, as well as other accompanying events such as creative meetings, workshops, seminars, masterclasses and others.
