La musica dei cieli (Music from heavens)
Since 1996 “La musica dei Cieli” presents sacred music from all kinds of different cultures around the world. This event takes place in different churches in the Lombardia area (North Italy) Our aim is to promote knowledge and respect amongst different expressions of faith.
In the past, the festival produced original shows, like Misa Luba with Miriam Makeba, Misa Flamenca, Meeting of Angels, "Sacrarmonia" Antonella Ruggiero, “Il Respiro del Fuoco” Luigi Cinque, Ludovico Einaudi & Mercan Dede...
Encouraged by critical acclaim, from the large participation of the public and the growing adherence by the House of Commons, La Musica dei Cieli achieved 2018 the support of the Italian Ministry of Culture.
La Musica dei Cieli arrives 2023 in its twenty-fifth edition, standing out as a crossroad of musical languages, a vehicle of research and tradition, and a reconnaissance of the Sacred starting from today's music: the festival offers the audience the opportunity to meet musicians with different backgrounds, different places of origin, and different ways of experiencing music, religion and spirituality.
