Made in New York Jazz Festival, Montenegro

Rabbit Records doo is the company founded in February 2011. And it is located in Podgorica, Montenegro. Predominant activity of our company is music publishing. Also, it is registered for marketing and consulting business, as well as audio/video production. In its vast spectrum of business activities, we successfully run Ethno Jazz Club Sejdefa in the city center. Through publishing activities, the main aim of the company on the Montenegrin market is to popularize less commercial musical genres (jazz, blues, classical, rock, fusion, hip-hop music) and artists who create their own music in those genres with the emphasis on authors from Montenegro.

In 2014 Rabbit started cooperation with Made in New York Jazz Competition INC from New York, and they are partners on production of new festival brand in Montenegro - Made in New York Jazz Festival, Montenegro. In last three years, we hosted some of the biggest jazz celebrities such are Dave Weckl, Randy Brecker, Mike Stern, Wayne Escoffery, Bobby Sanabria, Richie Goods, Jerome Jennings, Alex Blake, just to mention a few. In 2019, we'll host Bill Evans - sax, legendary Lenny White - drums. Charenee Wade / vocal, Ameen Saleem - bass and many others. Also, festival is trying to make new connections with European and regional jazz artists. Masterclasses, jam sessions, pre parties and many other programs, are just parts of jazz festival, from year to year.
