Malyovana Hata ("Painted Homes")
The Festival was created to support Ukrainian folk art/painting.
The first Plein-air "Malyovana Hata" (Painted Homes)was held in 2012 in the village of Slidy, Mohyliv-Podilsky district, with the aim of reviving the traditions of Ukrainian folk painting and popularizing the wall painting of Podillia houses. Since then, artists have decorated buildings with murals in the following villages: Naddnistrianske Murovanokurylovetsky District and Nagoryany Mogilev-Podilskyi District (2014), Hontivka Chernivtsi District (2015), Busha Yampil District (2018), Nosykyvka Shargorod District (2019), Serebryntsi of the Mogilev-Podilsky District (2020) and Bezvodne of the Mogilev-Podilskyi District (Yampilsk community in 2021) This year, the festival was held in September! It was the tenth anniversary of "Malyovana Hata"!!!
