Mostar Jazz Fest 2026

Mostar Jazz Fest 2026

03 Feb 2027 - 09 Feb 2027
Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Mostar Jazz Fest 2027 will build on the achievements of previous editions, bringing together international, regional and local artists for a programme of jazz and contemporary music, education and cultural exchange. Our ambition is to grow the festival steadily while preserving its artistic quality, welcoming atmosphere and close connection with the local community. The artistic programme will seek to balance established performers with emerging voices, creating opportunities for discovery, collaboration and original musical expression. Building on a history of hosting artists such as Jonathan Kreisberg, Alex Sipiagin, Dena DeRose, Vladimir Kostadinović, Jazz Sabbath and Chui, the festival will continue to develop its identity as a meeting place for diverse musical approaches. Mostar Jazz Edu & Science will remain central to this vision. Through workshops, masterclasses and mentored ensemble work, we aim to give young musicians opportunities to learn directly from professionals, develop their creativity and gain public performance experience. The educational programme will connect instrumental practice with digital creativity, sound production and the collaborative skills needed in contemporary music. For 2027, we also aim to develop humanitarian initiatives and visual arts activities that engage the community and enrich Mostar’s public spaces. Strengthening cooperation with like-minded festivals, cultural organisations and associations across the region will support artistic exchange, shared learning and the development of joint projects. Through this approach, Mostar Jazz Fest 2027 will work towards a lasting contribution to the city’s cultural life: supporting young talent, connecting communities and helping establish Mostar as a recognised regional cultural centre.
