Poolbar Festival 2027

The Austrian Poolbar Festival, founded in 1994, is an alternative and pop culture festival that runs for more than six weeks every summer attracting 35.000 - 45.000 guests from all over Europe. Each summer the festival is continually evolving due toits unique programme and picturesque location at Feldkirch’s Altes Hallenbad (former indoor swimming pool) and Reichenfeld (Open Air Area) which is situated at the geographical border area of Austria, Germany, Liechtenstein and Switzerland. 

Unique: up to 50 design students are creating concepts in the fields of architecture, product design, graphic design, digital projects, literature, public art and street art in the Poolbar Generator in Hohenems every spring – most of the concepts & designs to be implemented at the festival in summer. Thus Poolbar Festival reinvents itself every year. The festival is a hotspot for cultural discourse and awareness but also for club-culture, exuberance, wellbeing and soulfulness.

 The programme highlights range from family-friendly music-picnics in the park to films, cabaret events, panels, performing arts and club-nights. In the focus of public attention: concert performances from famous international headliners to up and coming acts that are tipped to be the next big thing.
