Qart/Danza 2026

Qart/Danza – Dance Week of Cartaya (Huelva, Spain) is a festival devoted exclusively to dance, with a particular emphasis on contemporary forms. Established in 2020, the festival celebrated its sixth edition this past May.The event takes place almost entirely in open-air settings and features short dance works specifically created for public spaces or unconventional venues. To date, its scope has been national; however, we are actively working toward expanding its reach to an international level in the near future.It is an initiative of the Department of Culture of the Cartaya City Council and is also supported by the Provincial Council of Huelva and the Regional Government of Andalusia.
