Rock na Devesa is a multidisciplinary festival founded in 2013 in Vila Nova de Famalicão, Portugal, created to discover, support and provide a stage for emerging artistic projects. Music is at the heart of its identity, and the band competition is one of its main pillars, acting as a platform for discovering new talent, live performance and creating opportunities for emerging artists. 

More than a competition, it is a meeting point for artists, professionals, partners, audiences and the local community. Its programme brings music together with other cultural expressions, including dance, circus arts, visual and plastic arts, as well as other forms of contemporary creation. This multidisciplinary approach aims to make the festival a space for discovery, experimentation and dialogue between different artistic languages. Strongly connected to the community and territory where it was born, 

Rock na Devesa returns in 2027, following its 2013 and 2019 editions, with a renewed vision that brings the festival's own history into dialogue with a new generation of creators.

Deeply rooted in Famalicão and open to artistic collaboration and circulation, the festival aims to be a platform where music, dance, circus, visual arts, community and place come together.
