SHIP Festival 2025

The SHIP Showcase Festival & Music Conference takes place in Šibenik in cooperation with the Fortress of Culture Šibenik, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Media, the Croatian Tourist Board, and local and regional units. The festival will feature approximately 40 artists from various genres, including ethno, classical music, jazz, rock, electronic etc. About 50% of the performers would be from Croatia (to better represent them to the European music professionals present), and the remaining performers would be from other European countries applying for our showcase through an open call. The conference part of the festival also includes numerous panels on current developments in the music industry, with the participation of a large number of domestic and foreign delegates from all spheres of music.SHIP is not just an ordinary music event where you come to see and hear your favorite bands; it's an event where you'll fall in love with new artists whose time is just beginning. Over 65 music professionals and 40 performers participated in the four-day SHIP festival from September 14th to 17th this year in Šibenik across six stages: St. Michael's Fortress Deck and Hull stages; Azimut Club, Green stage (in front of Azimut), House of Art Arsen, and Tunel Club.

The SHIP Showcase Festival & Music Conference is an event consisting of workshops, panels, and roundtable discussions on current issues in the music industry. It includes presentations by music export offices, fast networking sessions with various music professionals (speed meetings), and a concert-promotional segment. This proven networking format, connecting musicians with other stakeholders in the music industry such as music promoters, club owners, festival organisers, has repeatedly proven to be the most effective for promoting and subsequently distributing music to other markets. We consider this approach to be the best showcase for Croatian music, especially that which is underrepresented in the media but has great potential as a musical export product. We also view placing Croatia on the map of the Music Export Office network and Showcase festivals as one of our primary goals.
