The Skopje Summer Festival was founded in 1980 and is the largest summer interdisciplinary cultural event in North Macedonia. It takes place every year from June 21 to July 31, featuring a program that includes classical, contemporary, and traditional ethno music, theatre, dance, film, literature, visual arts, and multimedia.Throughout its 46-year tradition, Skopje Summer has organized thousands of events with the participation of artists from over 50 countries, positioning the festival as a key platform for cultural dialogue and international cooperation. Special attention is devoted to the inclusion of young authors, contemporary artistic forms, and interaction with audiences at urban and alternative locations across Skopje.
