Snip Snap Snout - Remember to be human
SNIP SNAP SNOUT, a festival organized by Gommalacca Teatro, was born from the experimentation of a Participatory Artistic Direction, namely a group of young people between the ages of 18 and 30 who, together with the company's artistic direction, chose to collaborate to carry out activities to activate the city through the medium of theater. In 2025, we reached our third edition, seeking to intertwine the languages of art and creativity, maintaining connections between the city's new spaces and its various audiences. Over three years, we have experimented with theater, slam poetry, urban games, contemporary dance performances, stand-up comedy, talks, and open mics, with activists, politicians, influencers, cultural operators, student and university associations to weave a dialogue around the questions that press us. How can we make art and bring people together in rural areas? How can we combat depopulation? How can we reach younger audiences?
