Spellbound! 2026

27 Jun 2026 - 28 Jun 2026
Turin, Italy

Spellbound! is a community-based festival that explores how sound and music can help us reflect on our relationship with the environment. Inspired by the idea of ecosophy, a philosophy that connects ecology with cultural and symbolic ecosystems, the festival creates spaces where art, sound, and inner thinking meet, encouraging new forms of awareness through listening.

After its first edition in 2025, the 2026 festival grows in scale and imagination. It expands its programme with new spaces and experiences designed to make listening more open, shared, and connected to the natural environment. The event unfolds through three main areas:

A concert area, hosting live performances that explore the boundaries between electronic music, sound art, and experimental composition

A DJ area, offering a more social and dynamic listening dimension

A listening and decompression area, where sound becomes ambient and immersive, encouraging rest and contemplation. Within this space, the Sleeping Concert invites audiences to experience music collectively through the night, complemented by a workshop exploring sound, dreaming, and perception.

Alongside its artistic programme, SWARM, the festival’s public section, offers free talks, workshops, and continuous listening sessions that blend art, research, and participation. A sound station will play field recordings and electroacoustic compositions, while open discussions will invite artists, thinkers, and audiences to share perspectives on listening, ecology, and cultural change.

The festival also includes a small area dedicated to independent publishing and local self-productions, showcasing the work of artists, musicians, and collectives who operate at the intersection of sound and environmental awareness. A plant-based food area, curated in collaboration with local producers, reflects the festival’s sustainable approach and commitment to short supply chains.

Spellbound! aims to build bridges between music, ecology, and community life. It encourages different generations and backgrounds to come together through shared artistic experiences that combine curiosity, care, and imagination. More than just a series of concerts, the festival is a living space for reflection and experimentation, where listening becomes both an artistic practice and a way of being together.
