The Music Summer School and Festival 2026

The 77th Music Summer School and Festival will take place from 1st to 15th August 2026 at Holt in Norfolk. Artists featured include Robert Hollingworth and I Fagiolini; The Lyon’s Mouth; The City Musick; Darragh Morgan & Pierre-Alexandre Tremblay; Derek Nash & Paul Higgs; Joseph Fort; James Gilchrist, Claire Booth & Anna Tilbrook; Ensemble 360; Jane Chapman & David Titterington; Ensemble Bash, and many more.Alongside the concert programme is an immersive series of over 40 participatory courses each week.The Festival's base at Gresham’s School (which counts Benjamin Britten, Lennox Berkeley and W H Auden amongst its alumni) provides a fabulous base for the Summer School, with stunning performance and rehearsal facilities along with relaxing and comfortable residential accommodation for participants, all surrounded by beautiful grounds and woodlands. The picturesque Georgian market town of Holt is less than 10 minutes walk from the school whilst the North Norfolk coast is just 4 miles away.
