Umbria in Voce

20 Mar 2026 - 22 Mar 2026
Gubbio, Italy

The eleventh edition of Umbria in Voce confirms the identity of a unique festival in the Italian cultural landscape, long recognized for the originality of its proposals and the excellence of the professionals involved: artists, teachers, and vocal researchers of high standing. Over the years, they have contributed to shaping a profound educational and human experience, open and accessible to all.The theme of this edition, “Singing, an art of joy and peace,” fully embodies the spirit of the festival: singing as a liberating act, a source of well-being, a driver of connection and care, and a powerful symbolic gesture of unity in the name of peace. Singing together means building bonds, respecting and including diversity, practicing mutual listening, and rediscovering the value of the present moment. It is joy lived through the body, the voice, and the community. This edition stands out for its strong emphasis on collective and interactive participation. The program includes experiential workshops, vocal improvisation, circle singing, choral activities for beginners, and public events open to all citizens. Among them is “CoralMente”, a large gathering where people of all ages sing together in an impactful invitation to participatory and community singing.Remaining faithful to its guiding principles—vocal training, shared experience, accessibility, and listening—the festival renews its format in an even more inclusive direction. At its heart, it places the voice as a tool of community, active citizenship, and a vehicle for human connection and cultural growth.
