Unified in Diversity: A Consort of Different Genres
The Coudenberg Palace presents the fourth edition of Coudenberg Sound Box Fest, an eclectic festival where music meets history. Artists from Brussels and beyond will enchant their audience in this unique archaeological site in the heart of Europe.
The four double concerts take place every Sunday evening from 24/11 until 15/12 2024 and will celebrate consort music in all its forms and instrumental combinations, from string and keyboard ensembles to saxophone and recorder quartets.
The programme spans from old tunes from the Shakespeare era to American minimalism. Moreover, the audience will be treated to French Baroque jewels on early instruments and timeless classics such as Bach's Goldberg Variations and Satie's Gymnopédies, all revised by internationally renowned musicians, alongside emerging young talents.
