Visfestivalen i Västervik

The oldest Festival in Sweden. It started 1966 as a folkmusic festival and has now become a singer songwriter festival. We let establish artist play unplugged as well letting newcomers try their material. That has lead to that Swedens most famous artists has started their careers here. Abba, Roxette, Cornelis Wreesvijk, First Aid Kit, Ted GÄrdestad and many more have been on the stage, as well as Elvis Costello and Kingston Trio.
