The mediaeval Castell de Peralada is the setting of the Castell de Peralada Festival during the months of July and August in the province of Girona, Spain. Founded in 1987 the Festival is a clear commitment to the excellence of the artistic proposals in lyric and dance, but also jazz and pop music.The Festival has been a member of the European Festival Association since 1992. Today, it is also a member of Opera Europa, FestClásica and Ópera XXI.
