Cinematica Festival X - De Anima
Cinematica is an international festival that deals specifically with the image-movement relationship in the visual and performing arts.
The festival, along with the programme that includes video and film screenings, performances, exhibitions, installations and laboratories, wants to convey new trends in audiovisual and performance experimentations, with a strong focus on bodily and perceptual root. The leitmotif of the X edition (end of October / Ancona-IT) is 'DE ANIMA'. With this Latin expression which is also the title of one of Aristotle's most important works, we intend to explore the soul and spiritual theme, but also that of "giving life", of animating things, people, inanimate objects. After dedicating the 2021 edition to the theme of Touch, 2022 to Natura Naturans, it seems to us that three years after the pandemic event, time has come to get closer to consciousness and the most spiritual forms of existence.
