FesticAM - International Festival of Theater and Circus of Amposta
The Amposta International Theater and Circus Festival is a cultural and artistic proposal, born in 2013 from the Amposta School of Theater and Circus, organized jointly with the Amposta City Council, which is being developed in the capital of Montsià, in the heart of the Delta de l'Ebre. Our aim of promoting the city as a reference space for circus, physical theater and the performing arts in Terres de l'Ebre, turning it into a showcase and exhibition of different proposals and live arts projects from around the world.
The commitment to this project is a commitment to promote culture and live arts in the territory of Terres de l'Ebre, to be a link and echo to the south, in which they will share prominence, on the one hand, shows of companies in which there is a clear vocation to bring artistic languages and make innovative contributions in these fields, emphasizing the street arts and, on the other hand, creations born from schools of performing arts of throughout Catalonia. For this reason, the International Festival of Theater and Circus - festicAM - is a exhibition performance and also a space for relationships and dialogue, research, exchange and rapprochement.
