EDS is an international festival dedicated exclusively to acousmatic music. this musical genre is focused on sounds, recorded, transformed, and then performed in concert on an orchestra of loudspeakers. it is connected to technology and emphasizes the spatial dimension of sounds. the festival takes place yearly in brussels with concerts, conferences and master class. Once every two years, international composition and spatialised interpretation competitions are organised during the festival
