The international folklore festival “Lombardia chiama” takes place on the banks of the lake Como in the famous Italian region – Lombardy, in the small alpine town Lecco. The Festival is officially organized by Blue Diamond Folklore Festivals. It is popular as it offers you to explore natural treasures of great charm – lakes, mountains, spas, and national parks. And at the same time, you can visit one of the most important fashion capitals – Milano. Participating in this festival you will definitely discover all beauties of Lombardy and enjoy the specialities of famous Italian cuisine, and feel the spirit of the Alps.

The festival itself accepts folklore dancing groups, chorus, majorettes, and musical bands whose performance is related to the tradition. Contemporary dance schools are welcome to participate with groups but not individuals. This festival is not a competition. The accommodation is provided in 3* hotels where you get two meals per day.

The age of performers and the number of dancers in the group are not limited to children's folklore ensembles and adult groups are welcome to participate. One performance is planned for each group so participants will have enough time for excursions and sightseeing. On request and in agreement with the organizer you may prolong your stay in Lombardy or modify the dates of arrival in order to coordinate it with your flights. The organizer will help you to organize transfers and excursions if you are coming by plane. For all details contact with organizer and visit the official website
