Festival “PIERROT” is an unconventional European stage for puppetry, dedicated to a new and untypical art form: the puppet theatre for adults. Festival is biannual and it’s held in the period September 24 - 29.
Participants in “PIERROT” are professional Bulgarian and foreign companies creating puppet art intended for the audience of grown-ups. Festival is organized as a competition and an International Jury estimates the performances.
“PIERROT” includes as additional events theoretical seminars, workshops, art market, exhibitions, street art.
The puppetry is no longer reserved only for children!
