INTERPLAY International Contemporary Dance Festival

INTERPLAY/International Contemporary Dance Festival is the contemporary dance festival for emerging and innovative dance talents that has been around the longest, in the urban area of Turin. 2019 will mark the 19th edition of the festival. Most of the shows presented are national or regional premieres. It hosts choreographers who have chosen to challenge traditional poetics, embarking on a courageous personal choreographic quest.

Invited artists are often also scheduled in other important dance festivals, in Italy and abroad. Every year, Interplay presents the best of the new contemporary dance with performances in theatres and urban areas, featuring companies from all over the world: Canada, Israel, USA,Germany, Netherlands, Japan, Brazil, Denmark, Finland, Spain, UK, France, Switzerland, Belgium, Poland – to name a few.
