Kutná Hora Performing Arts Festival 2022

The Kutná Hora Performing Arts Festival (Divadelní Festival Kutná Hora) was founded in 2005 and it focuses on presenting independent art at the international level and emphasises contemporary topics. The main programme consists of new productions by the Czech independent theatre scene both from Prague and
other regions, it also presents the European scene, mostly from the Central and East Europe. The festival traditionally organizes a free programme for families with children in the centre of the town (at Palackého Square); the programme is further accompanied by concerts, installations and other activities. Every year, the incoming artistic generation prepares a new production exclusively for the festival.

Kutná Hora Performing Arts Festival is also kind of a working platform, focusing on the development of collaboration between individual artists and the development and support of the independent sector itself. Thanks to its networking sessions, the festival initiates the possibilities of collaboration at both the Czech and international level. Every year festival hosts a various group of professionals.

All performances, unless otherwise stated, will take place at the Sedlec Brewery at Zámecká 136, Kutná Hora.
