Kutná Hora Performing Arts Festival 2021

The Kutná Hora Performing Arts Festival was founded in 2005 and it focuses on presenting independent art at the international level and emphasises contemporary topics. The main programme consists of new productions by the Czech independent theatre scene, the audience has a chance to see productions from the Central or East Europe every year, in 2021 specifically from Belarus, Ukraine and Poland. The festival traditionally organizes a free programme for families with small children in the centre of the town, the evening programme consisting of puppet or object theatre for the adults is one of the highlights of the festival. This year, traditionally, the incoming artistic generation prepares a new production exclusively for the festival. The programme of the festival is going to be accompanied by concerts, and other activities.
The festival is also kind of a working platform, focusing on the development of collaboration between individual artists and the development and support of the independent sector itself. Thanks to its networking sessions, the festival initiates the possibilities of collaboration at both the Czech and international level. This year festival is going to host proffesionalls from Belarus, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Ukraine, Poland and Slovakia.

All performances, unless otherwise stated, will take place at the Sedlec Brewery at Zámecká 136, Kutná Hora.
