Ystad Sweden Jazz Festival

Ystad Sweden Jazz Festival, est. 2010, is a 5-day event with 35-40 concerts featuring international jazz stars and rising talent from Sweden and Europe plus special events, female jazz projects, interviews, jazz parade, jam sessions and JazzKidz activities. YSJF is known for its use of intimate historic venues, dating from the 13th-19th centuries, in and around the medieval town of Ystad. The festival, held annually at the end of July/early August, is produced by volunteers in cooperation with Musik i Syd. Artistic Director, pianist Jan Lundgren.
