6th Edition of Autumn Waves

For the 6th edition of its Autumn Waves Festival, the Belgian Electroacoustic Music Federation welcomes you to 4 exceptional evenings of sound creation with 5 concerts and many composers and a few improvisers including pieces of the duet Mathieu Chamagne - Lê Quan Ninh, Julien Guillamat, Ambrose Seddon, Maggie Qi Mengjie, Roald Baudoux, Simon Lehmans, Bihe Wen, Eve Aboulkheir, Giulia Rae, Nikos Stavropoulos, David Berezan, Dirk Veulemans, Clément Parmentier, Antoine Habiyambere, Elizabeth Anderson, Vincent Simionovici, Daniel Perez Hajdu, Bruno Abt, Panayiotis Kokoras, Xiafu Zhang, Dimitri Coppe, Stéphanie Laforce, Nahuel Eduardo Litwin, Loïse Bulot, Joris De Laet, Todor Todoroff, Wim Daeleman, Laryssa Kim, Jean-Pierre Jonckheere and Christian Zanési. An immersive and intimate experience, performed on a large orchestra of loudspeakers, the acousmonium, with an exciting aesthetic diversity: electroacoustic and acousmatic music, live electronics, free improvisation, mixed music with saxophone and bhuto dance as well as music for motion picture. In addition to spatialized interpretations by the composers themselves, a series of spacializations will be performed by Roald Baudoux, Sophie Delafontaine, Stéphanie Laforce, Julien Guillamat, Thibault Madeline and Todor Todoroff.

Autumn Waves gives a major place to our members, composers from every region of Belgium, while opening a window on international creation with, through our partners in the International Confederation of Electroacoustic Music, works from the Argentina, PR China, France, the UK and the USA. The festival will also play works from the repertoire by David Berezan, Ambrose Seddon and Christian Zanési.All concerts will take place at the Project(ion) Room in 1180 Brussels.
