Now in its seventh year, Foça Film Days showcases archaeology and cultural heritage from Foça, Turkey, and around the world. In addition to a full programme of documentary films, Foça Film Days includes talks with participating directors and archaeologists, workshops, masterclasses, exhibits and tours of the local excavations and the historical town centre led by archaeologists and volunteers. All activities are free and open to the public.
Foça Film Days aims to help raise awareness about the importance of heritage conservation, promote multiculturalism and intercultural understanding, and encourage sustainable tourism. It further aims to encourage filmmakers in documenting world heritage.
