Luosto soi! / Sounds of Luosto

The next Sounds of Luosto festival will take place 31.7.-3.8.2025 on Luosto, Pyhä and in Sodankylä - theme will be LIGHT.

A wonderful classical music event held amidst the mountain scenery of Lapland in Luosto, Pyhä and Sodankylä. Concerts in 2025 will take place at the unique natural auditorium on the slopes of Ukko-Luosto, the atmospheric old log-church of Sodankylä, and some intriguing new venues. Our theme this your will be Light, as explored through ten concerts featuring a diverse spectrum of chamber and orchestral music. We can expect to hear familiar classics, new music, and the ever-popular cabaret gig.

The festival's artistic director is conductor Aku Sorensen.
