The Périgord Noir Festival, held every summer for over 40 years in southwest France, is renowned for the quality of its classical and baroque music programming and its distinguished guest artists. It also features a smaller jazz component. For the past 22 years, the Festival has run a prestigious International Baroque Academy for young artists pursuing a professional career.
