PLF Fest 2027

PLF Fest is an independent, community-driven music and arts festival held annually in Pontenx-les-Forges, a small village in southwestern France. Organised by the non-profit association PLF Music, the festival brings together emerging artists, musicians, performers and creative professionals from different countries, cultures and artistic backgrounds. Established in 2024, PLF Fest has grown into an international gathering where artistic expression, cultural exchange and human connections are at the heart of the experience. The festival aims to provide a welcoming and inclusive platform for emerging talents, particularly independent artists who may have limited access to traditional music industry opportunities.

The 2027 edition, scheduled for 2 - 4 July, will mark the festival's fourth consecutive year. Building on previous editions, PLF Fest 2027 aims to strengthen its international dimension while maintaining its intimate, collaborative and grassroots identity. The festival's programme focuses on live music, particularly contemporary and emerging musical expressions, while remaining open to other artistic disciplines, including dance, audiovisual creation and multidisciplinary performances. Artists are encouraged not only to present their work but also to collaborate, experiment and develop new artistic connections. 

One of PLF Fest's distinctive features is its approach to artistic development. Beyond the public performances, the festival creates opportunities for participating artists to spend time together, rehearse, exchange ideas and collaborate. PLF Music also operates a recording studio and organises artistic residencies, enabling creative projects to develop before and beyond the festival itself. The festival welcomes both local audiences and international participants, creating a meeting point between a rural French community and a diverse European artistic network. By bringing international cultural activities to Pontenx-les-Forges, PLF Fest contributes to cultural accessibility, local engagement and the visibility of emerging artists outside major urban centres. For its 2027 edition, PLF Fest seeks to expand opportunities for cross-border artistic collaboration, support new international partnerships and provide emerging performers with meaningful opportunities to develop their professional experience. Our philosophy is simple: music brings people together, creativity connects cultures, and every emerging artist deserves a space to be heard.
