Launch of EFFE Label 2024-2025
We are delighted to announce that you can apply for the brand new EFFE Label 2024-2025.
The EFFE Label is celebrating soon 10 years of existence: It is Europe’s quality stamp for remarkable arts festivals showing their engagement in the field of the arts, community involvement and international openness.
Today, more than 1550 festivals across Europe received the EFFE Label and form a strong festivals community, close to the European Festivals Association (EFA).
All arts festivals - registered on FestivalFinder.eu and holders of the EFFE Label 2022-2023 - may at any time apply for the EFFE Label 2024-2025 in order to use the new logo.
FestivalFinder.eu is our joint tool to reach festival lovers worldwide. It ambitions to be the most up-to-date, insightful, and complete searchable database of festivals in Europe and beyond in 45 countries.
We are reaching the end of the year: Time for you to update your festival's information with your next edition and programme (check our help page for support).
What you are doing is important: Festivals are platforms to experiment; show the work of talented emerging artists; bring arts and culture in cities, villages and remote areas; build strong relations with local and international audiences, and much more. EFA keeps on investing in FestivalFinder.eu and the continuation of EFFE - Europe for Festivals, Festival for Europe. We will soon launch the new version of the website that allows you to add a video of your festival and select the main topics that you are working on: environmental sustainability, inclusion, emerging artists, well-being.
EFA commits in the next years to continue to highlight your festivals in Zoom-in articles, offer your narratives to audiences through specific story-telling calls and collect data on the festival sector.
If you want to take a more active role in EFA's activities, you can:
- Become an EFA member: Take advantage of our Team up! campaign and join EFA for a lower membership fee by being co-opted by an actual EFA Member.
- Invite your cities and regions to sign the EFFE Seal for Festival Cities and Regions: 18 cities hold the EFFE Seal so far and more will join during the Arts Festivals Summit in Usedom, Germany, Germany (12-15 May 2024). It is a recognition and an invitation to cities and regions that wish to associate and integrate their development and image with a strong festival, cultural - and European - commitment. - Apply to the European Festivals Fund for Emerging Artists - EFFEA Call#3 and benefit from one of the 50 grants to support an emerging artist through a residency. The Call will open mid of January. More news on the exact timeline will be shared very soon.
- Spread the word and tell your festival friends to sign up on FestivalFinder.eu, apply for the EFFE Label, and invite them to the above points.
